Position Title: Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
COPsync is interested in hiring Regional Sales Managers (RSM). We currently have two open territories. One territory covers the Greater Houston / Harris County and surrounding areas. The other territory covers North Texas, including Dallas / Ft. Worth. The ideal candidate has previous law enforcement experience and/or experience selling into the law enforcement community. Software sales experience would also be preferred and the candidate must be a dynamic self-starter. This position will require extensive traveling within the assigned geographic location and will report to the VP of Sales. Primary responsibilities will be to present and sell the COPsync solution to law enforcement agencies through strong relationship building within your respective region and assist in managing the sales process.

COPsync operates the nation’s largest law enforcement real-time, information sharing, communication and data interoperability network. COPsync’s mobile application enables officers to instantly access local, state, and federal law enforcement databases, efficiently gather information at the point of incident, and immediately share critical data with all officers on the COPsync network.
With a nationwide officer safety alert system, GPS-based vehicle locator, and distance-based alerts for crimes in progress, COPsync saves lives and helps officers solve crimes, apprehend criminals, and proactively interdict criminal behavior.
The automated ticketing, DUI processing, and accident, arrest, incident, and offense reporting features increase officer productivity and the in-car warrant clearing feature reduces unpaid county or municipal court warrant fees.
Since 2009, the COPsync network has grown to over 230 agencies, just in Texas, sharing information in real-time making us the largest law enforcement software provider in the state.

Job Requirements
• Age 25+
• Associates Degree or Relevant Experience
• Some Law Enforcement background Minimum Qualifications and Responsibilities
• Experience with Law Enforcement (either previous Law Enforcement Officer or have a history in working with Law Enforcement)
• Some sales experience (prefer software or computer hardware
• Able to demonstrate sales professionalism through presentation and motivation of others
• Ability to determine key points of contact and secure demonstration opportunities at all levels of Law Enforcement Agencies
• Strong aptitude with computers and computer software
• Ability to effectively communicate and present key product features in a simplistic and succinct manner while explaining technical requirements as needed
• Provide sales forecasts and updates to COPsync Management
• Ability to work independently, without on-location supervision
• Has demonstrated a life of integrity and pursuit of personal excellence
• “Whatever it takes” attitude
• Must live within the assigned region; be capable of working from a home office, and able to travel extensively
• Able to close business
