Position Title: Regional Sales Manager

Job Description

COPsync is interested in hiring Regional Sales Managers (RSM). We currently have 17 open territories throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have been a Law Enforcement Officer, will have some software sales experience and be a dynamic self-starter. This position will require extensive traveling within the assigned geographic location and will report to a National Sales Director. Primary responsibilities will be to present and sell the COPsync solution to Law Enforcement Agencies through strong relationship building within your respective region.

Additional Information

COPsync was started nearly 6 years ago with the idea of enabling information sharing between Law Enforcement Agencies and Officers. COPsync’s focus is to provide a universal mobile data collection user interface for Law Enforcement Agencies to standardize information collection, while concurrently providing real time information sharing amongst Agencies, at the point of incident. With COPsync, solution providers will offer to their clients a robust mobile data solution that has the ability to collect 100% of the officer’s activity in an electronic format – at the point of incident – creating the ability to share this same data real time regardless of the agency or their existing technology infrastructure.

COPsync, by not offering a Records Management (RMS), Jail Management (JMS), Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) nor Court Technologies, has positioned itself to be the neutral party structured to create information sharing without competitive resistance from those currently supplying a technology infrastructure to their respective law enforcement client.

Job Requirements

  • Age 25+
  • Associates Degree or Commensorate Experience
  • Some Law Enforcement background Minimum Qualifications and Responsibilities
  • Experience with Law Enforcement (either previous Law Enforcement Officer or have a history in working with Law Enforcement)
  • Some sales experience (prefer software or computer hardware
  • Able to demonstrate sales professionalism through presentation and motivation of others
  • Ability to determine key points of contact and secure demonstration opportunities at all levels of Law Enforcement Agencies
  • Strong aptitude with computers and computer software
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present key product features in a simplistic and succinct manner while explaining technical requirements as needed
  • Provide sales forecasts and updates to COPsync Management
  • Associates Degree and/or commensurate experience
  • Ability to work independently, without on-location supervision
  • Has demonstrated a life of integrity and pursuit of personal excellence
  • “Whatever it takes” attitude
  • Must live within the assigned region; be capable of working from a home office, and able to travel extensively
  • Able to close business

Salary Information

First year draw of $60,000 + commission
