Benefits
In order to provide safer communities for citizens of the United States, COPsync, Inc. had to address the overall needs of the Law Enforcement community, resulting in the development of COPsync™.
The goals of COPsync™ are to:
1. Provide officers with critical information in a real time environment.
2. Provide additional patrol hours on the streets and in neighborhoods without hiring additional officers.
3. Assist officers in completing the information needed to perform their duties as safely as possible.
4. Provide officers with the necessary tools to perform their tasks accurately without the need for multiple follow-ups or multiple resources.
5. Provide agency administrators the tools needed to effectively manage their agency.
To meet the goals of COPsync, Inc., the COPsync™ Solution includes:
- Availability of an information network for ALL Law Enforcement Officers to access remotely in the field.
- Technology designed to assist 100% of the activities that a Law Enforcement Officer could expect to generate while on duty.
- Real-time statistical data to allow administrators the ability to create, run, and analyze reports to proactively lower crime in their communities.
- Real-time information to allow administrators the ability to create, run, and analyze reports to efficiently manage their agency.
- Real-time information sharing between agencies as crimes are reported and investigated.
- Intuitive graphical interface designed with simplicity and the resulting officer safety as a top priority.
- Intelligent forms to assist in expediting the paperwork process that will allow officers more time on the street instead of behind a desk.
COPsync™ was built "For Officers By Officers". COPsync, Inc. understands that most departments still rely heavily on pen and paper. Asking an officer on the street to change the way they perform their job can be stressful and distracting. To minimize this stress and distraction, COPsync™ was designed by Law Enforcement Officers with the goal of minimal training requirements and the least amount of disruption to how officers perform their duties.
